In 1999 the Magnetic Fields released their sixth album, 69 Love Songs. This three-volume, 69-track, genre-hopping opus explores the multifaceted phenomenon of the love song. For Valentine's Day, 2017, I worked with my Friend and Studiomate Ira Leigh to assemble 69 amorous artists to create an original piece for each and every song on the album.
The show was on display at Land Gallery in Portland Oregon from February 10th - March 18th, 2017.

Little Otsu is a retailer & publisher of quality paper goods from around the world. After over a decade of fangirling over their work and a brief stint working in the shop, I worked with owners Yvonne & Jeremy to refresh Little Otsu’s brand.
Pulling from long-time inspirations like Bauhaus design and Ellsworth Kelly, while staying true to their DIY roots, we build a flexible system of type, shapes, and color, that can be endlessly adapted to fit their needs.
The new brand has been slowly rolled out across their website, social media, and print collateral, and we continue to dream up new ways the brand can exist in the world.
Beyond those deliverables, I’ve also worked with Yvonne & Jeremy to create products for the shop, including weekly planners and notebooks printed by Emílio Braga.
Secret Room is a small press and risograph printing studio in Portland, Oregon. Founded by myself, partner John James Dudek, and some of our dearest friends and collaborators ( or “roomies”), it is a community built around printed goods, merrymaking, and exploring art. We publish our own comics and art books as well as commercial print projects like fliers, wedding invitations, books, posters, art prints, and more!
I created our logo and brand in collaboration with friend and roomie Ross Jackson, created our website using Squarespace, and continue to design, print, and produce art prints and books under the Secret Room name.
Bumper Crop came about, first as a joke, in 2014 with a text thread between writer Lily Hudson and myself. Lily had too many ideas that couldn’t be kept from the world, and Bumper Crop was born with a set of 6 designs. Since then, we’ve slowly designed more stickers, built a website, and distributed our goods through our friends at Buy Olympia. It continues to be a labor of love and a fun project between friends! Check out the site!
World Coffee Research (WCR) is a non-profit agricultural research organization who’s mission is to grow, protect, and enhance supplies of quality coffee while improving the livelihoods of the people who produce it. I have been lucky enough to work with this small, committed team since 2017 in creating a yearly annual report as well as many infographics and illustrations which help stake holders understand the important work they are doing for the coffee industry.

I worked with the Alt Country/Americana band The Stubborn Lovers to design a logo, branding system, merch, and album art for their first ep.

I’ve taken up embroidery over the last few years as an art practice outside of design and as a way to de-stress. Below are a few pieces I’ve done for art shows and as gifts.
